The Flames (19-10-4) suffered a last-minute defeat in Edmonton Monday night. Fernando Pisani scored with 45 seconds left to give the Oilers a 5-4 win.

The Kings (21-13-1) are coming off a shootout victory over the Vancouver Canucks Monday. Alexander Frolov scored the decisive goal in the 4-3 win.

HEAD-TO-HEAD:

Flames F Chris Simon scored a pair of goals, including the winner with 30 seconds left in the third period, to give Calgary a 3-2 road win Oct. 23. It was their first of four meetings this season. The Flames have an all-time record of 80-55-15-1 against the Kings.

WHO'S HOT:

FLAMES -- F Kristian Huselius has a four-game point streak and has scored a goal and eight assists in six games as a Flame. F Daymond Langkow has three goals in his last four games and six in his last seven.

KINGS -- Former Flames F Craig Conroy has two goals and three helpers in his last three games.

WHO'S NOT:

FLAMES -- G Miikka Kiprusoff had his worst outing of the season Monday. D Rhett Warrener and D Andrew Ference were on the ice for four of five Oilers goals.

KINGS -- F Luc Robitaille has been a healthy scratch for three straight games. Lucky Luc has just eight points in 21 games this year.

POWERPLAY -- Calgary 15.7% (31-197, 21st); Los Angeles 15% (35-232, 26th).

INJURIES:

FLAMES -- F Stephane Yelle (ankle) did not practise yesterday and is questionable for tonight's game. D Roman Hamrlik (knee) is out indefinitely.

KINGS -- F Jeff Cowan (hamstring) is day-to-day. F Jeremy Roenick (finger) is out at least a month. F George Parros (ankle), Ryan Flinn (concussion) and F Valeri Bure (back) are out indefinitely.

NOTABLES:

Kings F Jeremy Roenick broke a finger while blocking a shot in the second period of Monday's shootout victory. He had a short reunion with two-time former teammate Tony Amonte outside the Flames dressing room yesterday.
