Calgary's home opener was spoiled by a 3-2 overtime loss to Dallas Thursday night. The Flames (1-3-1) are winless in three straight.

After opening with victories over Colorado, Vancouver and Anaheim, the Oilers dropped their first of the season in L.A. They headed into last night's home game against Dallas with a 3-1-0 mark.

This is the first of eight meetings this season. In 2003-04, the Flames owned the Oilers, posting a 4-0-1-1 mark for 10 points. Since the Flames came to Calgary, they've sported a 70-69-18-1 record, with a home mark of 42-28-9.
