Sabres recall veteran Parrish

BUFFALO - The Buffalo Sabres have recalled veteran forward Mark Parrish from their American Hockey League affiliate in Portland.

Parrish spent 11 seasons in the NHL with Florida, the Islanders, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Dallas and Tampa Bay. He signed as a free agent with Buffalo in October after an invitation to training camp.

The 34-year-old Minnesota native has 35 points in 42 games for Portland this season and has four goals with 11 assists in last 13 games. He has 216 goals and 387 points in 720 NHL games.

Buffalo also recalled forward Luke Adam from Portland. This will be his fourth recall this season. In 18 games for the Sabres, Adam has three goals and one assist.
