BUFFALO - The Buffalo Sabres have acquired forward Brad Boyes from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft.

The 28-year-old Boyes had 12 goals and 29 assists in 62 games with the Blues this season.

Originally a first-round pick (24th overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2000 draft, Boyes has posted at least 40 points in each of his six full NHL seasons.

Boyes has totaled 145 goals and 190 assists in 472 career games with St. Louis, Boston and San Jose.
