Miller to get night off
By SPORTS NETWORK

PITTSBURGH -- Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller is expected to sit Tuesday when his team returns from the Olympic break with a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Miller backstopped the United States to a silver medal at the Winter Olympics and was named the MVP of the tournament, despite the 3-2 overtime loss to Canada in the gold medal game. He played all six games for the Americans during the tournament, posting a 5-0-1 record with a 1.35 goals-against average.

Patrick Lalime is expected to get the start for Buffalo in net Tuesday, while Miller could return for Wednesday's home contest against Washington.

Miller has appeared in 52 games for the Sabres this season and owns a record of 30-14-7 with five shutouts, a 2.16 GAA and a .930 save percentage.
