Drury had his first two-goal game with the Sabres on March 3, 2004 ... Was acquired by the Sabres from the Calgary Flames on July 3, 2003 along with Steve Begin in exchange for Rhett Warrener and Steve Reinprecht ... Played four years at Boston University, winning the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey's top player in his senior season ... Was named NHL's rookie-of-the-year in 1998-99 after scoring 44 points with the Colorado Avalanche ... Scored six goals in the playoffs that season, four of them game-winners.

NOTEWORHTY:

The Senators pounded the Sabres 10-4 on Nov. 2 at HSBC Arena. Captain Daniel Alfredsson and RW Martin Havlat scored four goals each. The Senators have outscored the Sabres 15-5 this season in two games ... The return of D Toni Lydman to the lineup last night against the Leafs meant D Jeff Jillson was sent back to the club's AHL affiliate in Rochester ... Coach Lindy Ruff was waiting until after last night's game to decide whether he'll start G Martin Biron or G Mika Noronen tonight ... Rockland native Derek Roy should be in the lineup for Buffalo, on a line with Ws Chris Drury and Ales Kotalik. Drury is being used on the right side ... The Sabres have scored a power-play goal in nine straight games. That's their longest streak since scoring 12 in the 1994-95 campaign ... 1,500 tickets remain for tonight's game.
