Notebook:

The Senators are off to one of the best starts in club history with a 4-0 record going into tonight's visit by the Bruins. The club started the 1999-2000 season with a four-game winning streak and went unbeaten in five with a 4-0-1 record ... Expect to see G Andrew Raycroft, who was in a contract dispute in training camp before signing with Boston, in net for the Bruins ... Here are the Bruins lines from their 5-2 victory over the Panthers on Thursday: Sergei Samsonov-Patrice Bergeron-Glen Murray, P.J. Axelsson-Travis Green-Tom Fitzgerald, Shawn McEachern-Brad Boyes-Brad Isbister and Colton Orr-Dave Scatchard-Patrick Leahy. The defence pairings were: Andrew Alberts-Jiri Slegr, Brian Leetch-Ian Moran and Hal Gill-Kevin Dallman ... There are more than 1,000 tickets remaining for tonight's game, but the Senators are expecting a crowd 19,000-plus ... McEachern, a former Senators assistant captain, signed with the Bruins as a free agent in the off-season -- his second stint in Boston ... The Bruins practised in Florida yesterday and then took a charter flight to Ottawa in the last afternoon.
