Bobby Ryan weary of trade talk

Anaheim Ducks forward Bobby Ryan is doing all he can to quell the trade speculation that has dogged him since last month.

The 24-year-old winger has seven goals and four assists in 11 games since Christmas.

"It's frustrating because I think my play over the past 10 games has been good enough to where (the rumours) should cease a little bit and there should be some protection there," Ryan told the Orange County Register.

"It's the nature of the business I guess. We're still a team that's (13) points out of the playoffs. We didn't have a good first half and set ourselves so far behind the 8-ball."
