Forward Teemu Selanne announced Thursday he would be returning to the Anaheim Ducks for "at least" one more year.

The 41-year-old revealed on a video posted to the Ducks website that he will play a 19th NHL season. The Los Angeles Times reported that Selanne has agreed to a one-year, $4-million deal for 2011-12.

"You guys knew I can't stop playing yet, so I'm back at least one more season," Selanne said in the video. "My middle name is 'One More,' and we start the season in Helsinki, so see you there."

Selanne had off-season surgery on his left knee, which was why he delayed his announcement until just before the start of training camp. He says the knee has healed and he is "excited and optimistic" about the coming season.

He had outstanding 2010-11 campaign, finishing with 31 goals and 49 assists in 73 games.
