Getzlaf breaks nose, goes on IR
By Sports Network

ANAHEIM - The Anaheim Ducks placed forward Ryan Getzlaf on injured reserve Thursday with multiple nasal sinus fractures.

A CT scan on Wednesday diagnosed the problem that was caused when Getzlaf took a puck to the forehead during Tuesday's win over Phoenix.

Getzlaf will see a specialist on Friday for additional tests that will determine how long he will be out of action.

The 25-year-old captain has 13 goals and leads the team with 24 assists over 40 games this season, his sixth in the NHL.

Do you think Coyotes players should be punished for their actions after the team’s Game 5 loss to the Kings?
