TVA Sports, the official Francophone home of the NHL, released their schedule on Tuesday, giving hockey fans another avenue to watch hockey seven days a week. Along with TVA Sports 2, the French language stations will carry over 275 hockey games this season.

The channels will broadcast over 200 regular season games, along with the playoffs, the Stanley Cup Finals, the NHL All Star game, the NHL Draft, and the Winter Classic.

“With this agreement, TVA Sports is now more than ever the number one destination for hockey,” said Serge Fortin, Vice President of TVA Sports.

TVA’s coverage kicks off with the greatest rivalry in hockey, when the Montreal Canadiens face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 8.

One night a week will be ‘Fans Night’, where viewers will be able to vote online for the game they want to watch most. TVA Sports and Sun Media are both owned by Quebecor.
