The winners of the NHL awards for the 2013-14 regular season, announced at the Wynn Resort on Tuesday night:

Hart Trophy (most valuable player to his team)

The winner is: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh

Our choice was: Crosby

Skinny: Crosby, who also won the Art Ross Trophy with an NHL-high 104 points, wins for the second time and first since 2007. He won the night’s first award as well, taking the Ted Lindsay Award, given to the player voted most outstanding by NHL players. Named on every ballot, Crosby had 128 of 137 first-place votes.

Vezina Trophy (top goaltender)

The winner is: Tuukka Rask, Boston

Our choice was: Rask

Skinny: The former Maple Leafs prospect continues to haunt his former organization, winning the Vezina for the first time. Rask compiled a 36-15-6 record and went on a 9-0-1 streak during one stretch, leading the Bruins to their first Presidents’ Trophy since 1990.
