TORONTO - With Dominik Hasek, Rob Blake, Mike Modano, Peter Forsberg, Pat Burns and Bill McCreary making the Class of 2014 one of the more prestigious group of Hockey Hall of Fame inductees in recent years, what does the 2015 list of candidates look like?

Peering into Sun Media’s crystal ball, one thing jumps out: the Class of 2015 will have the slam dunks of all slam dunks.

And his name is Nicklas Lidstrom.

In 20 NHL seasons, the franchise defenceman of the Detroit Red Wings won four Stanley Cups, seven Norris Trophies as the league’s top defenceman, one Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP, and was voted into twelve NHL all-star games.

The Hall should just start making up his enshrinement plaque right now in order to get a head start.
