Trade talk will likely be among the top of discussion as the NHL’s 30 GMs gather before Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final.

With the NHL entry draft set for June 27 in Philadelphia, the league’s braintrust will gather on Broadway to discuss the issues of the day, but they’ll also start setting the table for next year.

Three teams could be prepared to move big centres:

Ryan Kesler, Vancouver: He made it clear at the deadline he only wanted to go to Pittsburgh or Chicago. It doesn’t sound like his demands for a deal have changed and GM Jim Benning has to find the right fit.

Jason Spezza, Ottawa: He wouldn’t mind being moved if the Senators want to deal him. The Anaheim Ducks want him as a No. 2 centre and have called several times. The Blues and Predators are studying this option.

Joe Thornton, San Jose: The Sharks want to make changes. He has a “no move” clause and controls his own destiny. The Maple Leafs have shown interest and so have several other teams. This will be interesting to watch.

Don’t expect deals Wednesday, but the seeds could be planted for further talks.
