Forty? Phil? Feasible?

While you won’t get Phil Kessel to open up about the chances of being the first Leaf since Mats Sundin to get 40 goals, teammates don’t mind laying a bet.

“It’s hard to really put a limit on him,” said centre Tyler Bozak on Saturday as the jubilant Leafs marked Kessel’s hat trick against the Ottawa Senators that brought him to the 30-mark for this season. “He can get so streaky. Three goals tonight ... who knows next game?

“Phil has always played well since he’s been here and done some great things for our team. I definitely wouldn’t doubt him getting 40 by any means.”
