Time for the Fantasy Fare halftime all-star and all-dud squads. Discounting anyone who has lost significant time through injuries, these are our top three forwards, two defencemen and one goalie who have outshone, or failed to meet, their draft or auction-day value. Also not included are rookies or emerging names (Bruins’ Reilly Smith) who would’ve been passed over on draft day. We’re sure there are several more deserving candidates, but here’s a start:

ALL-VALUE TEAM

GOALIE

Josh Harding MIN: His continuing battle with MS, coupled with some pedestrian backup stats a year ago, made him an end-game handcuff. Today, he leads the NHL with a 1.68 GAA and ranks top 10 in wins, shutouts and SV%. Ben Bishop? He began the year as a co-starter and had more value.

Also: Ben Bishop TB, Jonathan Bernier TOR, Brian Elliott STL

DEFENCE

Viktor Hedman TB: Blossoming unexpectedly into a top-25 blueliner offensively with a 7-14-21 line and a plus-8.
