That’s perhaps even more eyebrow-raising when you consider that, at home, he is usually out against the top opposition lines and, in theory at least, plays more of a stay-at-home game.
Other homebodies include Matt Moulson, with 11 of his 13 goals at home for both the Sabres and Isles, and Lightning’s Valtteri Filppula, who is 8-12-20 in 18 home games and 5-3-8 in 19 away. Injured Sharks rookie Thomas Hertl is better than a point-a-game pace at home (10-6-16 in 15 games), but has just nine points in 20 on the road. Wild’s Zach Parise has twice as many home points (18) as on the road (9), while T.J. Oshie’s stats for the Blues are even more skewered with 21 in 19 home games, nine in 17 road tilts.
On the flip side, Tyler Seguin is tied with Patrick Kane for most road points -- 13-13-26 in 20 road c
