And the bandwagon seems to be growing every day.

With Colorado’s two-headed management monster of Joe Sakic and Patrick Roy already having publicly given the nod to gifted Halifax forward Nathan MacKinnon as the favoured candidate to be plucked first overall by the Avalanche during Sunday’s NHL entry draft in Newark, and team director of amateur scouting Richard Pracey echoed those views on Wednesday.
