BOSTON - The NHL is finally seeing straight on visors.

As the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins prepared for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final Wednesday at TD Garden, there was plenty of talk about the decision by the competition committee to grandfather in the use of the protective shields.

Though most people around the game agree with the decision to make them mandatory starting next season for new players, Pittsburgh veteran forward Craig Adams doesn’t like the idea one bit because he believes players should have a choice.
