Once the season officially ends later this month, a few general managers will have to toy with the difficult task of whether they'll actually use the compliance buyouts negotiated by the league and the NHL Players' Association in the CBA.

Here are some buyout candidates:

Ilya Bryzgalov, G, Philadelphia: His buyout would be $23 million spread over 14 years, which means he would be on the payroll until 2027.
