All talk, not a lot of action.
It took awhile, but the phone lines finally started to heat up around 90 minutes prior to Wednesday's trade deadline, before the 16 deals involving 27 players finally started to come to fruition.
Nobody should be disappointed or surprised with what took place. The standings are tight and there really are only four teams out of the playoffs. Teams tried to go bigger, but they found it tough to make deals.
"It wasn't an easy day, the prices were high," said a league executive when the dust had settled.
