Who says good things come to those who wait?

Obviously a number of teams in the National Hockey League do not prescribe to that notion. Indeed, many of them have opted to forgo patience and pull the trigger on significant deals before the NHL’s trade deadline day of Wednesday ever arrived.

Consider some of the names that have moved already. Jarome Iginla (Penguins). Jay Bouwmeester (Blues). Jaromir Jagr (Bruins). Robyn Regehr (Kings), Brendan Morrow (Penguins). Derek Roy (Canucks). An impressive list indeed.

Which teams made themselves better? Which teams screwed up? And which players might still be candidates to change addresses by Wednesday’s 3 p.m est deadline?

Whether you want to discuss these questions or debate some of the moves (or non-moves) of your favourite team, join Sun columnist Mike Zeisberger for a live Trade Deadline Day chat at noon Wednesday.

Let the fun begin!
