Picking Canada's Olympic hockey team for Sochi
By CHRIS STEVENSON, QMI Agency

MONTREAL - Carey Price didn't want to talk about it.

After a recent post-game scrum with reporters, the Montreal Canadiens goaltender was asked by QMI Agency what it would mean to him to have a chance to wear a Team Canada sweater at the Olympics.

"That's not my focus," said Price. "My focus is here (on the Canadiens). I don't want to discuss it."

Fair enough.

Price might not want to talk about his candidacy to man Canada's net at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games, but millions of Canadian hockey fans will.

One year out from the start of the Sochi Games -- we're assuming NHLers will be participating with talks between the NHL, NHLPA, IIHF and IOC about to get serious -- the discussion about who should wear the Maple Leaf at the Bolshoi Ice Dome will also ramp up.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
