Just one top seed survived the second round of Sun Media’s mock NHL playoffs and advanced to the conference finals.

The top-seeded Kings knocked off one of two remaining Canadian teams, the Oilers, to get within one series win of the Stanley Cup final. The Blackhawks upset the second-seeded Canucks to ensure an all-American final.

In the Eastern Conference, the top-seeded Capitals were no match for the fourth-seeded Rangers, who rolled to a convincing win. The Penguins also pulled off an upset over the Bruins.

Third-round playoff voting is open below, but first take a look back at the Sun’s second playoff round, first playoff round and regular season.
