Voters select which teams will advance to the NHL's second round

Earlier this week, Sun Media allowed readers to have their say on which teams would qualify for the NHL playoffs, based on divisions.

The results of the regular season are in and we've narrowed it down to the eight teams from each conference that made the playoffs.

Sun Media’s mock NHL playoffs are now underway after voting narrowed the field to 16 teams.

Five of seven Canadian NHL teams received post-season berths, with the Flames and Canadiens missing the cut.
