Less interested after reports of Sacramento Kings moving north

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has no interest in relocating a team to Seattle, following news of the NBA's Sacramento Kings potential move there, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.

Bettman made the comments following a unanimous vote to approve the new CBA with the players.

Some of the same ownership that has been pursuing the Kings has also been interested in a hockey team, according to the report.

The league is still trying to finalize a deal with prospective Phoenix Coyotes buyer Greg Jamison, who has until the end of the month to buy the franchise and finalize a $308 million, 20-year arena deal with the city of Glendale, his spokesman told the paper.

The former San Jose Sharks CEO's name first surfaced as a potential Coyotes owner in August 2011.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
