NHL Survey Results: Fans still grumpy, but like Canucks to win Cup
By Don Wilcox, QMI Agency

A majority of readers who responded to this week's Sun Media survey say they will boycott NHL games once the season starts on Jan. 19.

But excuse us if we take that with a wee grain of salt. The survey, which appeared on Sun Media websites across the country the past few days, drew more than 8,000 responses between Saturday and Wednesday morning.

Of those who responded, 69% said they will take part in a boycott of NHL games. The question will be how long the fans can stay away once their teams actually hit the ice ... or if they were just saying they will boycott in order to vent their anger at the players and owners.

Are you bummed Canada lost to Sweden in the quarterfinals at the world hockey championship?
