NHL, NHLPA expected to meet in New York

It’s up to you, New York. If the NHL season is going to indeed be saved, then a lot will ride on the response of the NHL Players’ Association to the league’s latest proposal during a face-to-face meeting on Day 106 of the lockout Sunday in New York City. While the league and the players spent Saturday holding a series of conference calls to discuss the NHL’s last-ditch effort to save a 48-game schedule, there was no formal bargaining, just question and answer sessions. |
