Don Cherry to NHL players: Stop whining
Grapes goes on another Twitter rant
By QMI Agency

Don Cherry took to Twitter Wednesday to voice his concern over how many NHLers have spoken out against the league and its owners during the current lockout.

Don Cherry has a message to bitter locked-out NHL players: Tone down the criticism of the owners and league commissioner Gary Bettman.

A number of players have been vocal about placing the blame for the month-long lockout at the feet of owners and Bettman, using Twitter and other social media outlets to vent their frustration.

Ironically enough, Cherry passed along his pearl of wisdom on, uh. Twitter.

"I have some advice for the players," Cherry said on his Twitter account Wednesday. "Quit tweeting and talking to the media about how bad Bettman and the owners are. I know it's hard to control 700 guys but you don't hear the owners speaking out.

"Quit ticking them off, why make them more determined?"
