The NHL and NHL Players Association are meeting Friday with a sliver of hope for a full regular season.

It is expected by the time the two sides gather in New York, the league will have cancelled the rest of the exhibition schedule.

All of the games in September were whacked last week and with Oct. 1 coming up Monday, it's reasonable to expect the rest of the exhibition schedule will end up in the trash can.

Sun Media hockey experts Mike Zeisberger and Ted Wyman chatted today about the latest NHL lockout updates and if there will be an actual season.
