The NHL pre-season is the first victim of the lockout.

The league made it official Wednesday by announcing the cancellation of games until the end of September, including the Kraft Hockeyville game set for Oct. 3rd in Stirling-Rawdon, Ont. That is 61 games in total that are gone.

While many of the Hockeyville festivities will still be held in the small community near Belleville, the game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets has been officially postponed until next year.

Camps were scheduled to open Friday and the pre-season is supposed to end on Sunday, Oct. 7th. There are still 46 exhibition games left on the schedule in October but it's highly doubtful any of those will be played.
