Readers' choice: QMI Agency's mock NHL playoffs
Voters select which teams will advance to the NHL's second round
By QMI Agency

QMI Agency's mock NHL playoffs are underway after a week of “regular season” voting narrowed the field to 16 teams.

Rather unsurprisingly, although five of seven Canadian NHL teams received post-season berths, the Flames and Canadiens missed the 2012-2013 cut, finishing second-to-last in their respective divisions.

First-round playoff voting is now open to QMI readers across the country, who are looking to lessen the blow ahead of what could be a long, hockey-less winter.

To see how regular season voting shaped up, take a look back at last week’s "season". Then scroll down and help us determine who will advance beyond the first stage.
