Yashin ready to head home?
By SUN STAFF AND TSN

Former Senators captain Alexei Yashin may take his money and run.

Yashin's agent Mark Gandler said his client is not happy with contract offers he's received from NHL teams.

"We are still talking to some teams," Gandler told CKNW Radio in Vancouver.

"So far the offers we have received we are not happy with. If we are not going to get what we are looking for, then he (Yashin) will definitely go to Russia.''

Gandler said he was looking to get near market value for Yashin and wouldn't take a fraction of market value just because of the buyout Yashin got from the Islanders.

''I'm looking at players who are older and less productive and they are getting significant salaries," said Gandler. "He just does not want to be the whipping boy. That's just not going to happen.''

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
