PREDATORS (5-3-1) AT FLAMES (3-4-1)

8 P.M., 'DOME

TV: NONE

RADIO: FAN960

COMING IN:

After losing their first three, the Preds have won five of six and claimed 11 of 12 points in that span, including a 4-3 win over the San Jose Sharks Thursday in Music City, U.S.A. The well-rested Flames, only one game in eight days, returned from a disappointing road trip and thumped the Phoenix Coyotes 6-1 Tuesday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD:

The Preds have taken a bite out of the Flames over years, including a sweep of last year's four-game series. Nashville outscored Calgary 18-9 in those games. The good news: Calgary has a 6-4-3-1 home mark.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- C Matthew Lombardi is riding a five-game point run (3-4-7). He's also a plus-8 in that spell.

PREDATORS -- A pair of goals in the win over San Jose has Scott Hartnell up to a team-best five.

WHO'S NOT

FLAMES -- LW Kristian Huselius finally scored last game but that's his only point in the last four games. He has two (1-1-2) on the season.

PREDATORS -- RW Jordin Tootoo has no goals, no assists and is a minus-3 this season.

INJURY REPORT:

FLAMES -- C Stephane Yelle (knee) and LW Eric Nystrom (shoulder) are out.

PREDATORS -- LW Steve Sullivan (back), F Josef Vasicek (hip flexor) and D Greg Zanon (concussion) are on injured reserve.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

POWERPLAY -- Calgary 11.1% (6-54, 26th); Nashville 16% (8-50, 16th).

PENALTY KILLING -- Calgary 80.8% (21st); Nashville 76.1% (29th).

NOTABLES:

Calgary D Dion Phaneuf didn't practice yesterday because of a bout with the flu ... Nashville D Kimmo Timmonen will move ahead of former captain Greg Johnson for all-time games played as a Predator. They both stand at 502.
