MALMO, SWEDEN - That was close.

Canada got goals from Nic Petan and Jonathan Drouin in the final six minutes of the third period on Monday, coming from behind to beat Slovakia 5-3 before a thrilled crowd of mostly Canadian supporters at the Malmo Isstadion.

Drouin, alone in front, didnít hesitate, one-timing Manthaís pass from behind the net behind Slovakia goalie Samuel Baros.

Petan got the winner during a power play at 17:14, waiting out Baros before beating him with a low shot, and then scored into an empty net with 1:20 remaining.
