Zach Fucale has one simple wish for the world junior.
"In the end, I want to write my own little story in this and help the team as much as I can," Fucale said.
"You know what? Jake (Paterson) and I have the same goal in mind, and that is winning games for the team and being at our best every night. There is nothing else to it for us, if it is me starting or him starting, we are going to be playing for the team and (trying to be) winning, so it doesn't matter for both of us."
Ah, goaltending. There probably hasn't been a time that it has been under as much scrutiny in Canada as it is now, and whether you subscribe to the idea that it's a major issue in our country, there's no question it's on the front burner. It has caught the attention of a nation at the world junior, where the country's best teens have not won gold in the past four tournaments.
