Hockey Canada calls for more consistency from IIHF

UFA, RUSSIA - Scott Salmond and the rest of Hockey Canada want consistency.

Is that too much to ask for, International Ice Hockey Federation?

Probably.

Hockey Canada officials were reeling on Friday when the IIHF announced the suspension of defenceman Griffin Reinhart for four IIHF games, a harsh decision that came after Reinhart was penalized for a high-sticking minor in the semifinal loss against the United States a day earlier.
