Alarm was late waking up Canada at world juniors

Canada's juniors fall to the U.S.

The wrong song blared over the sound system at Ufa Arena following Thursday's first World Junior Championship semifinal.

It was supposed to be our national anthem, not the Star Spangled Banner.

More appropriate, however, would have been a slightly tinkered with version of O Canada. Something that started with "Oh No Canada."

For the second time in two years, the boys in red and white were stopped short of making it to the tournament final -- a place they had held reservations for the previous decade -- in a shocking 5-1 humiliation at the hands of the USA.

Would Patrick Roy make a good coach for the Colorado Avalanche?
  Yes, he's perfect
  No, he's not ready
  Bring him to Montreal!
