World Junior: Canada comes out flat in semifinal loss to U.S.
Will play for bronze medal for second straight year
By TERRY KOSHAN, QMI Agency

Canada's juniors fall to the U.S.

UFA, RUSSIA - Steve Spott can be a tricky guy.

But he can't snap his fingers and rewind the clock.

After Canada lost 5-1 against the United States in a semifinal at the 2013 world junior championship on Thursday, Spott wondered aloud what he and his coaching staff could have done differently to prepare the players.

"Maybe we should have gone in before the game and kicked up more of a storm," Spott, Canada's head coach, said. "We have not done that yet because we have not had to."

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
