UFA, Russia — Another clash between Canada and the United States is on tap at the 2013 world junior championship.

The teams will meet in a semifinal on Thursday (4 a.m. Eastern) after the U.S. crushed the Czech Republic 7-0 in a quarterfinal on Wednesday.

John Gaudreau scored three goals for the U.S., which had little trouble with a Czech team that was not overly interested.
