World junior keeps focus off NHL's CBA talks

UFA, Russia — Any concern that players had about getting called back to North America for NHL training camps is gone. In fact, for many of the Canadian players who likely will wind up at their respective team’s camp when and if a new collective bargaining agreement is done, the CBA talks in New York are a non-issue. “I have not paid attention to that at all,” said Barrie Colts forward Mark Scheifele, who will be on a flight to Winnipeg to join the Jets in the event of a new CBA. |
