UFA, Russia - Taking on the job of head coach of Team Canada at the world junior championships is pretty much a no-win situation.
Win and, well, you were supposed to, right?
Given Canada’s incredible success at this event over the years, anything less than gold is regarded as a wasted trip.
Now Steve Spott has got his team well positioned to end Canada’s gold-less drought of three years heading into the medal round as Canada went 4-0 in the preliminary competition.
