CALGARY - The last time Ryan Nugent-Hopkins skated in an international competition he tied for Team Canada's goal-scoring lead.

That was at the 2012 IIHF World Hockey Championship.

No, there isn't a word missing in there.

Nugent-Hopkins will captain Canada's squad at the world junior tournament in Ufa, Russia. Although the 19-year-old doesn't have any prior experience playing in the annual event at this level, nobody is concerned he'll become a bundle of nerves on the big stage.












Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
