CALGARY - On the verge of tears, one of junior hockey’s biggest hitters struggled to speak after he received a massive jolt Thursday night.

“Just not my year,” said Calgary's Mathew Dumba,18, after being cut from Canada’s national junior team for the second year in a row.

"Very disappointing," he continued. "It's tough. It's a tough team to make so I'm disappointed but I understand at the same time."
