CALGARY - It's become a sure-thing annual sound-byte. Canada's most talented teens show up for the world junior hockey selection camp and insist they're willing to play any role for an opportunity to wear the maple leaf. Still, leading scorer isn't exactly what Frank Corrado had in mind. The Sudbury Wolves' stay-at-home defenceman was the only Team Canada hopeful to light the lamp in Wednesday's 4-1 exhibition loss to the University of Alberta Golden Bears in Calgary, the last chance for some guys to impress the coaching staff before the first round of cuts just hours later. |
