CALGARY - Almost every family has some sort of Christmas tradition.

But the Graovacs are looking to start a unique holiday ritual: Playing at the world junior tournament.

Ottawa 67s centre Tyler Graovac is looking to follow in the skate marks of his dad, Tommy, who tended goal for the star-studded Cornwall Royals, the last non-national team to represent Canada at the world juniors in 1980.

"He said it was one of the best moments of his life," Tyler Graovac said of his dad. "I want to carry on that tradition and make this team.
