CALGARY - Dealing with rowdy Russian fans will be the least of Team Canada's worries.

Portland Winterhawks sniper Ty Rattie went to Russia in the summer to play in the Super Series.

And he said there were a few things that opened his eyes.

"Like going down to pre-game (meal) at one o'clock and seeing a full fish down there, and that's what you have to eat for pre-game," Rattie said.

"It was a fish with the head. You have to take the skin off and find the meat."

Hockey Canada used the Super Series and the Subway Series to evaluate players leading up to the world junior selection camp.

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
