CALGARY - Ryan Strome has one thing on his mind as he returns for the world junior championship selection camp: revenge.

Strome and five others arriving for Team Canada’s selection camp were part of the squad that lost 6-5 to Russia in last year’s semifinal at the Saddledome, denying the hosts a spot in the championship game for the first time in 11 years of medal round play.

“I think of the third period and how close we actually came,” said the Niagara IceDogs sniper of his most vivid memory of a game that saw the Russians up 5-1 after two periods.
