Canada's world junior team will be deep
By TERRY KOSHAN, QMI Agency

Even if Ryan Nugent-Hopkins chooses not to play, Canada will have a strong team at the world junior hockey championship. (AMBER BRACKEN/QMI Agency files)

There's just one instance that hockey fans in Canada don't get all bent out of shape because of a National Hockey League lockout.

It has happened twice, and those who get wrapped up in the world junior hockey championship -- which, seemingly, is everyone -- know the score.

Canada dominated at the 2005 world junior in Grand Forks, N.D., and in Red Deer, Alta., back in 1995, winning gold both times as the NHL brought its game to a halt.
