Troock scores late to give Team Orr win
By QMI Agency

Seattle Thunderbirds forward Branden Troock lifted Team Orr to a 2-1 victory against Team Cherry at the 2012 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game Wednesday night.

With the game tied 1-1 late in the third period, Troock sealed the victory after scoring the go-ahead goal with 24 seconds left in regulation.

Troock's heroics earned him player of the game honours for Team Orr. Soo Greyhounds goaltender Matt Murray was the top player for Team Cherry after making 17 saves in just under 30 minutes of ice time.

In one of the lowest scoring games in the event's history, it wasn't until 2:46 into the second period when Edmonton Oil Kings defenceman Griffin Reinhart opened the scoring to give Team Orr a 1-0 lead at Prospera Place in Kelowna, B.C.

Rouyn-Noranda Huskies defenceman Dillon Fournier tied the game 1-1 for Team Cherry 8:23 into the third before Troock sealed the deal with his power-play marker.

Do you think Coyotes players should be punished for their actions after the team’s Game 5 loss to the Kings?
